Anyone for Anya sketch

Well...hello all...
 Hope everyone had an exceptionally fab Christmas ... didnt it just whizz by ? By pure luck , I am not back till Friday. That will be a shock to the system , but then its a long weekend so its ok...
We always pay for being closed over the holidays ..I am suprised I dont dream prescriptions...December was horrible..!1
Anyway , I digress .. just wanted to post a quick card for the Anyone for Anya Sketch challenge.

The paper is My Minds Eye..the sentiment Craftwork Cards and my cute Anya image was coloured with my trusty Promarkers...

Polkadoodles challenge week ~51 a sketch

Hello to you all..

Well , I hope you are all ready for a magical Christmas, and Santa brings you something special.

Its Friday , so that means its time for the polkadoodles challenge , and it a sketch by the lovely Ruth .

I have used the Sugar Birdies cd, full of fresh zingy colours to launch us into a fresh new year.!

I have used the flutterfly fairy Meshelle , and coloured them with my Promarkers. I layered her on the lovely layout from the sketch.

C.E.S. Challenge #17 Anything goes.

Hello all...
apologies I have been "away from keyboard !"  for a couple of days , and have neglected my blogging .
I am late posting my Gdt entry for CES Challenges , which now runs into the New Year , and the theme is " Anything Goes ".

This adorable Lili of the valley bear is coloured with Promarkers, Mounted onto a Sissix Bigz snowflake, and then onto a couple of nestie die cuts.

The lace is from Wild orchid Crafts, ribbon from stash , and the backing papers are from the lovely Martine , from The Craft Table.

Anyone for Anya DT call

Just a quick post to let you know that Anyone for Anya have been having a DT call .. it ends Wednesday in fact...
 i have recently discovered these little cuties... and I have been umming and ahhhing as to whether to apply . Well , I guess you gotta give things a try ...
 so , here is my card ..

The cute girl is from a set from The Greeting Farm called " Fuzzy Wuzzy ". there is a boy and a girl . they are both really sweet and I think I will be using them a lot .

The papers are from Polkadoodles , the tickets from Gdc, the girl is stamping in memento and colured with  my trusty Promarkers.

 The snowflakes are from Martha Stewart punches . These were freebies from the lovely Tracey from Dies to Die for , where i bought the stamps . The customer service is superb !

Polkadoodle s Challenge 49 - something to hold a gift

Hello all....
Boy, am i glad its the week-end..I am sure i have said it before , but i am REALLY glad ...I have had a horrible week . Problems at work , if its been poss to drop or break anything I have ..lol..Anything electrical?? well , I am steering clear..!!
Any,way , one good note I managed to buy 2 ticket to see Erasure in corcert , Yipppeee!!!
The are at Dalby Forest, next June ... something I am looking forward too !! :-) .
Anyhoo...on to my card this week .I went for a tea-light gift card , which seem to be very popular at the mo'. I used Sundae of Seasons, again... the resources on this cd are endless, there are sooo many gorgeous things .

ABC christmas Challenge ..."Y" for Yuletide

Hello and happy weekend , boy am I sure glad i don't have to venture far today ..having said that I am off to see a good friend this weekend , to make my Christmas Pomander to hang at the front door . We have made them together now for the past 3 years . She is a Florist , and a very lovely lady lady .. I will  post some pics later...:-)

Polkadoodles Challenge week 47 all about the sentiment

Hello all...
Its Friday .. that only means one thing !!!
Yep ..the Polkadoodles Challenge , and this weeks theme is " All about the sentiment!"

This means making the sentiment the focal point on your card.. here is my card .

 I have used up my Polka dot scraps from the Sundaes of Seasons cd  (the butterfly is from there too) , "Just Because " Polkadoodle rubber  sentiment stamp , Kraft card ..( Nikky is now stocking Yummy East of India Kraft products in the Polkadoodles store) and a few pearls to finish .

cute card thursday - "the blues !"

Just when you think it couldn't get any colder..???!!!
Had to cancel my hair appointment in Beverley today , the roads are pretty scary at the mo'.
 Hubby saw sense and came home today , he drives to Scarborough, and when you can't tell the roads from the snow driving over the top of the wolds ..???
So, productive day at home , back to work tomorrow... not looking forward to going out in it , but it will be nice and warm indoors , wouldn't want to have to work outdoors at the moment !
Anyway, onto my card ... the theme is " the blues " over at Cute Card Thursday....

the papers are Nitwits..  the image Lili of the Valley. the ribbon is the gorg silk ribbon from the ribbon girl . he is coloured with promarkers , and the charm is from my stash ( the hobby house , i think). It is blue honestly , but the light at the moment is strange to say the least ... another snow storm on the horizon!
The prize , by the way , over at Cute card thursday is a $20 voucher from The Beary Scrap. Pop, over and have a look , its the place to get everything you need ( and more) to create those cute tear bears :-).

 The snow seems relentless these few days...I am off today , so a day to craft methinks !!

Anyway , just wanted to show you my entry for this weeks Anyone for Anya sketch. It is sponsered this week by Harlekino.

I used the basic grey jovial pad, A few vellum poisettias and pearls . Anya is coloured with promarkers.

Blue, blue Christmas..

Hi guys... a short post ( to make up for my lack of output lately )
I wanted to show you this awesome free digi I got from the lovely Torico.... she is a designer for There She Goes rubber stamps..
I have been busy today creating Christmas cards for a dear friend ...She needs several Xmas cards for her Grandsons...

You may recognise the papers as Polkadoodles ..I love Nikky's papers. This one was from the creative Christmas CD .

The tickets were a freebie from GTC I think.. the font and brackets were from the Cindy Loo cartridge ..( eep I have a Cricut machine ..!!)

Our lovely mousey friend was coloured with Promarkers...

I would like to enter him into a couple of challenges ...

The first is Digital Tuesday challenge , the theme there is " Let it snow " , where the prize is from My Grafico .

The second is Bah!humbug and the theme there is "feeling the blues", here you have to use shades of blue on your card . Hope you like todays creations , thanks for looking xx

Hi guys ..apologies for being MIA  Its been a hectic week and i have struggled a little with my eyes . When I am a little headachy  they tend to complain a little , but I am thankful I am not really a migraine sufferer! Bless all those that are  x
 Anyway , so i missed the last Polkadoodle s challenge , but today i wouldlike to show you a coulple of samples made with Nikky's new stamps...Did you see the show on Create and Craft ..wowzers !! Those little houses and accessories are so cute ! The demo Nikky did blew me away ... and since its not fit to be outside today ( unless you are a polar bear !) I might get a little crafting in...:-)

The houses and sentiments are fabby !! you can get loads of little accessory stamps to create a scene...

They sold out on the show , and I think there is a waitlist over at Polkadoodles . Get your name down .. you will love playing with these...

One of the biggest things I am thankful for are my two wonderful daughters. They are growing into such lovely young ladies , strong and very independent . CES Challenge blog .- think pink

Morning to you ..!
Its a lot brighter today , so i will make this a quick post, so i can make the most of the light , i have loads of orders to meet !
Hubby did buy me a daylight lamp , so I can carry on in the evenings now ... I  really like to sit and colour under it ..:-)
anyway , I wanted to post my entry for CES challenge this week ..its " Think  Pink " , my favourite colour ..esp on girly cards ... so it was rude not to enter... !

 

The papers are MME "lush" flowers and lace from wild Orchid Crafts .The little hanglar girl ..( I know i have used her loads recently ) is coloured with promarkers .

A spoonful of sugar " snow / snowflakes"

 i have been fairly busy in the last week , and i have lots of orders for cards . I have been taking pics of them in hopes to enter them in a couple of challenges...

 My card tonight is a Christmas card , featuring a lili of the valley image . I really enjoy colouring these with my trusty Promarkers , and i looove to embellish !

The papers and ribbon are Anna Griffin ,  the stamp is Cats Life Press, the flowers are Wild Orchid , except the leaves , they are Prima. The image is "dropping the shopping" from Lili of the Valley.

Polkadoodles Challenge week 45 make a gift box

O.M.G its Friday again !!
 Can't believe another week has whizzed by....and you know what is just around the corner !!
Well since it is Friday , that must mean time for the Polkadoodles challenge !
This weeks theme is ."Make a gift box".
So, without further ado..here is my creation this week

The papers (only its card ) is from the paper boutique creative Christmas c.d..I love blue for Christmassy stuff . I coloured Gracie , a Flutterfly Fairy stamp, to match . wrapped a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch round the box added a few gems, and layered Gracie onto the box. Its just a lovely size to hold a bracelet or necklace perhaps...

Hello all...its the weekend again...yipppeee...
I guess it seems I am wishing my life away , but this week has been a toughie and I am glad to see the weekend.
 So, its Saturday, so that must mean another C.E.S challenge.

Polkadoodles Challenge week 43 Autumn Colours

Hello and happy Friday to you..!
That means today is the day for another Polkadoodles Challenge !
 This week the theme is autumn colours...
I have used a few dotty papers from theSundaes cd , but my favourite Flutterfly Fairies too !
 I coloured in Maggie perched on a toadstool, with promarkers, matted and layered the papers and added some autumnal leaves  and a sentiment ... Easy !

Polkadoodles Challenge week 42 Something for a new baby

Hello...Happy Friday...(lets hope Mr blogger is co-operating and he post this correctly !)
Today new challenge over at Polka doodles is to create something for a new baby. I went with The Sundae of Seasons  CD , ( there are so many yummy things on there...I have barely scratched the surface)
I decided it would have to be for a baby girl ..i do so love the pinks and lemons on this CD , and the prints are what I would call ditsy , dainty and delicate .....
A nice big square card to start . layered with the oink gingham , then the lemon flowery dots and the pink version on that. I cut a circle in card and wrapped this with ribbon, backed it with lace .Then I layered a lace doily and a nestie circle. I decoupaged the little baby in and added the h so cute stars as an accent ..a few dots of pearly doodles...

..a bow and some buttons ...

Isn't she cute ?

I adore these little stars ..!!
