Anyone for Anya sketch

Well...hello all...
 Hope everyone had an exceptionally fab Christmas ... didnt it just whizz by ? By pure luck , I am not back till Friday. That will be a shock to the system , but then its a long weekend so its ok...
We always pay for being closed over the holidays ..I am suprised I dont dream prescriptions...December was horrible..!1
Anyway , I digress .. just wanted to post a quick card for the Anyone for Anya Sketch challenge.

The prize up for grabs is a $10.00 gift voucher to spend at Digital Delights.

The paper is My Minds Eye..the sentiment Craftwork Cards and my cute Anya image was coloured with my trusty Promarkers...

Polkadoodles challenge week ~51 a sketch

Hello to you all..

Well , I hope you are all ready for a magical Christmas, and Santa brings you something special.

Its Friday , so that means its time for the polkadoodles challenge , and it a sketch by the lovely Ruth .

I have used the Sugar Birdies cd, full of fresh zingy colours to launch us into a fresh new year.!

I have used the flutterfly fairy Meshelle , and coloured them with my Promarkers. I layered her on the lovely layout from the sketch.

C.E.S. Challenge #17 Anything goes.

Hello all...
apologies I have been "away from keyboard !"  for a couple of days , and have neglected my blogging .
I am late posting my Gdt entry for CES Challenges , which now runs into the New Year , and the theme is " Anything Goes ".

This adorable Lili of the valley bear is coloured with Promarkers, Mounted onto a Sissix Bigz snowflake, and then onto a couple of nestie die cuts.

The lace is from Wild orchid Crafts, ribbon from stash , and the backing papers are from the lovely Martine , from The Craft Table.

Anyone for Anya DT call

Just a quick post to let you know that Anyone for Anya have been having a DT call .. it ends Wednesday in fact...
 i have recently discovered these little cuties... and I have been umming and ahhhing as to whether to apply . Well , I guess you gotta give things a try ...
 so , here is my card ..

The cute girl is from a set from The Greeting Farm called " Fuzzy Wuzzy ". there is a boy and a girl . they are both really sweet and I think I will be using them a lot .

The papers are from Polkadoodles , the tickets from Gdc, the girl is stamping in memento and colured with  my trusty Promarkers.

 The snowflakes are from Martha Stewart punches . These were freebies from the lovely Tracey from Dies to Die for , where i bought the stamps . The customer service is superb !

Polkadoodle s Challenge 49 - something to hold a gift

Hello all....
Boy, am i glad its the week-end..I am sure i have said it before , but i am REALLY glad ...I have had a horrible week . Problems at work , if its been poss to drop or break anything I have ..lol..Anything electrical?? well , I am steering clear..!!
Any,way , one good note I managed to buy 2 ticket to see Erasure in corcert , Yipppeee!!!
The are at Dalby Forest, next June ... something I am looking forward too !! :-) .
Anyhoo...on to my card this week .I went for a tea-light gift card , which seem to be very popular at the mo'. I used Sundae of Seasons, again... the resources on this cd are endless, there are sooo many gorgeous things .

ABC christmas Challenge ..."Y" for Yuletide

Hello and happy weekend , boy am I sure glad i don't have to venture far today ..having said that I am off to see a good friend this weekend , to make my Christmas Pomander to hang at the front door . We have made them together now for the past 3 years . She is a Florist , and a very lovely lady lady .. I will  post some pics later...:-)
Anyway , just a quick post , to show you my entry for  the ABC Christmas Challenge ... which is "y" for Yuletide . I used my basic grey Jovial pad once again , and a Lili of the Valley stamp, coloured with my Promarkers ..( I do love these ) .

Polkadoodles Challenge week 47 all about the sentiment

Hello all...
Its Friday .. that only means one thing !!!
Yep ..the Polkadoodles Challenge , and this weeks theme is " All about the sentiment!"

This means making the sentiment the focal point on your card.. here is my card .

 I have used up my Polka dot scraps from the Sundaes of Seasons cd  (the butterfly is from there too) , "Just Because " Polkadoodle rubber  sentiment stamp , Kraft card ..( Nikky is now stocking Yummy East of India Kraft products in the Polkadoodles store) and a few pearls to finish .

cute card thursday - "the blues !"

Just when you think it couldn't get any colder..???!!!
Had to cancel my hair appointment in Beverley today , the roads are pretty scary at the mo'.
 Hubby saw sense and came home today , he drives to Scarborough, and when you can't tell the roads from the snow driving over the top of the wolds ..???
So, productive day at home , back to work tomorrow... not looking forward to going out in it , but it will be nice and warm indoors , wouldn't want to have to work outdoors at the moment !
Anyway, onto my card ... the theme is " the blues " over at Cute Card Thursday....

the papers are Nitwits..  the image Lili of the Valley. the ribbon is the gorg silk ribbon from the ribbon girl . he is coloured with promarkers , and the charm is from my stash ( the hobby house , i think). It is blue honestly , but the light at the moment is strange to say the least ... another snow storm on the horizon!
The prize , by the way , over at Cute card thursday is a $20 voucher from The Beary Scrap. Pop, over and have a look , its the place to get everything you need ( and more) to create those cute tear bears :-).

Hello guys...BRRRRR!!!!
Hope you are all safe and warm...
 The snow seems relentless these few days...I am off today , so a day to craft methinks !!

Anyway , just wanted to show you my entry for this weeks Anyone for Anya sketch. It is sponsered this week by Harlekino.

I used the basic grey jovial pad, A few vellum poisettias and pearls . Anya is coloured with promarkers.

would also like to enter it in " Aspoonful of sugar challenge" where this week its

" 3 patterned papers , 3 buttons or flowers  and 3 gems ". I think i qualify there ..lol ! checkout the rest of the dt cards and entries , awesome !
