Spectrum Noir challenge card- Flowers

Hello my crafty friend... half way through the week again... wooaaaa! I am just recovering from the clocks going back.. I don't like these dark nights!!!
Its Halloween today too..... I LOVE Halloween, and always vow to make more cards...but I never manage it... booooo :-(
I have a card to share.. and sadly it not Halloween, but at least it is seaosonal..
I have used another stunning Tiddly Inks image... Soon as I saw little Wryn I had to have her!!!! ( I think , looking at my last few posts I may have Tiddly-ink-itus!!!Lol!)

so, this is the lovely "Fall Wryn" who is coloured with my Spectrums. The papers I think are Woodland Neighbours.

The flower is Tim Holtz tattered florals.... I have added a little lace, button twine & some staples... The sentiment is computer generated.

 Isn't she fab??? I love her hat.......
 so, all that is left to do is enter this card in..

Tiddly Inks GDT card- Make It Like Lou

Good morning crafters! I am back with my second GDT card for Tiddly Inks today! I t has been such a buzz I can tell you ! Thank you so much ladies for having me ! 
Without further ado..  here is my card.. and the theme is "Make It Like Lou"...

So, with the new twist on the Tiddly  Ink challenges, you can copy Lou's sketch use the same colours or the same image....

I have gone with the sketch... I have used this adorable wee fella called "Genius". He is coloured with my Spectrums. the papers are MME L&F Breeze, I only have a teeny bit of this pas left.. and I love it :-(

 I have added a little button twine , and a button, the sentiment is from TLC .

Crafty Ribbon challenge- Christmas

Hello crafty friends! .. how was your weekend.... mine sure went quick!!!!
the BIG day is now hurtling towards us, and I thought I had better get a wiggle on with the Xmas cards... (gulp)..
 So, a quick card to share, using a fab new Tiddly Ink Wryn image...

Lili's Little Fairies- Girly christmas

Hello sweet friend... thank you for joining me today...
 Its Thursday, and our teams turn for the Lili's Little Fairies challenge-which today is "Girly Christmas"
I have chosen an image which has gone un-inked til now.. but I have only had her a very short while.....

She is called "Winter Fairy" .. and is coloured with my Spectrums. the paper are from Bearly Mine called "Pastel Christmas", I used a frostyville border die, some button twine, and the most divine sparkly button.... 

the sentiment is from LOTV called Grungy Christmas messages, I have added lots of stitching and matted in kraft, the snowflake in glitter paper is a spellbinders snowflake 2012.

 I hope you like her... I couldn't resist these Xmas papers in pink... I was really impressed by the traditional Xmas ones too.. they might be next on my list....:-)

Cute Card Thursday - Glitter

Hello dear friend... hope you Sunday is a peaceful one.... there is nothing like a relaxing Sunday..
 I have a nice soft coloured card today.. easy on the eye.. and quick to make.... lots of die cut flowers, glitter, and a pre coloured image... :-)

I have used the very hard to get hold of embossing folder called "Tied together" from Couture Creations.. this is such an elegant design. I have added heart shape pearls at every "tied " point. The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations Aster die ,brushed with distress ink & lavished with loads of glitter.. and a pearl in the middle the die cut image is a pre-coloured one from LOTV .These are called "Romantic Times".I computer generated the sentiment and that was it really .. a quick card :-)

 I hope you like it.. I love my new aster die.... I will try not to over load you with it ..:-))))

Spectrum Noir tutorial for shiny hair

Hello my lovelies... the weekend is upon us... my these weeks go so fast..... I am trying so hard to keep up sometimes... I have received a massive list of commissioned Xmas cards.. I have some exciting, if not intricate DT work to do... and some fabulous new DT positions.. lots happening!! :-)
Anyhooooo.. I posted a tutorial over on the Spectrum Noir Blog yesterday to show you how I colour shiny hair... its so easy peasy you will wonder why you haven't tried it before....

 So,I took one of my favourite digi ranges .. Tiddly inks.. and coloured her up with my Spectrums.The papers are Prima Tea Thyme. the sentiment comes with the image... the heart is a Sissix die.i have added loads of stitching, and this made for a quick and easy card...

 so, I do hope you get chance to check out my tutorial let me know if there is anything else I can do a tute for...altho' I'.m not the best at them...

Exciting News!!!!

Hellloooooo my lovely blog friends ... i haven't slept a wink last night. i am been like a jumping bean this morning... I am heading off to work, and since its "Stand Up to Cancer " day at work .. 
I am in my brightest PINK finery.. so, fun & frolics to take my mind off things!! HeeeHeee!
 so... the BIG news????

A very special day - Happy birthday Mum!

Hello my dears, how is your crafty week going so far??? 
today is a special post.. there are special dates on your calendar, and today is on of them, my Mum's birthday.. Happy birthday Mum!!!!!!
So, I can safely share my card now...

this card has used a lot of my favourite things, like images from Day for Daisies,, this one is called "birds in my hair" coloured with my Spectrums.The papers are Pink Paislee London Market, the largest of the backing papers was from the ever useful Mel Stampz.. using the dotty background papers...

I have added lots of embellishments, and a Kaisercraft birdcage.I tied the charm on with some button twine.The lace flowers I got from eBay, the post mark was added as a second stamping( I stamped on a bit of scrap paper first) using LOTV Love sentiments sheet. I added a doily a pin, and lots of stitching too!

Mulberry Wood sneak peep number 2!

Hello again their my crafty friend! how is your week going?
 Half way thro' the week already , and time to share another sneaky peep of the new Mulberry Wood Everyday stamps and cd, this is another little cutie from the stamp range, ideal for the men in our lives.....

  aren't these papers fabulous.. they just flow together , I LOVE them so much:-) this little guy is just fab for those tricky male cards, and it has a retirement sentiment too! nice one!
he is coloured with my Spectrums, I have matted him on Kraft card, and added plenty of brushed corduroy DI to distress it

Tiddly Inks GDT- Halloween!!!

Hello my lovelies .... wahooooo!!!!!!
I can hardly believe I am saying this, but here is my GDT card for Tiddly Ink Tuesday challenge where the theme is "Halloween"
I was so thrilled when Melissa invited me to join them as GDT for a couple of challenges... I have been fit to burst keeping it a  secret!
so, Halloween is the theme and here is my card using the newest image of Wryn.. in her witches outfit--- Sooooooo cute!!!!!

 I said she was a cutie, didn't I ?  she is Witchy Wryn, and she is coloured with my Spectrums. the papers are Fancy pants "Oct 31st", which I had from last year. the sketch is based on the current one over at the Sugarbowl, but I loved it so much I had to use it again.....

 Love that lil frog on her hat too!!

Mulberry Wood everyday sneak peek!

Hello my sweet crafty friend! its Monday again, and time to start off the new Mulberry Wood sneak peeps for the new stamps and cd launching this week...
these are very useful everyday images, and you will love the papers and embellishments on the cd which tie everything together and give you a fab finish to your crafting.
 here is my first card...

this little cutie is perfect for  Valentines day , she is coloured with my Spectrums. the papers are from the cd and are just perfect , I LOVE 'em!

  The die cuts are MFT banner dies on which I have stamped one of the sentiments, and the flower and leaf is from heartfelt creations Aster die, my new fav(til the next one of course)

Lili's Little Fairies- Classic Christmas

Hello my sweet blog friends.. how are you?? 
the ink is still wet on my blog post this morning.. as I was at work ate last night, and have managed to wake up with a headache this morning.. so I am frantically writing my post for you...
The theme today over at Lili's Little Fairies is "Classic Christmas"... So I dug out and old favourite, I love this cute family...

The papers are MME lost & found Christmas... yep, I still have a little left from last year....the sketch is based loosely on the SugarBowls current sketch
the stamp is called "Carol Singing", and it is coloured with my Spectrums. the flower is my new love, is a Heartfelt creations Aster... I apologise in advance , you will be seeing it a lot!

 I have added the necessary amount of glitter, and stardust pen.... the sentiment is  a new acquisition (ahem) from LOTV called Grungy Christmas Messages, stamped on kraft with brown ink, perfect!!

The SugarBowl challenge- Maria Therese's sketch

Hello my lovelies... Sorry , I have been a little quiet.. busy with samples at the mo' and as predicted I came home with armfuls a few items from Harrogate GNPE..lol!
So, whats have i been doing?? well... firstly I made my DT card for LLF, you will have to wait til Thursday for that.. but I did take time out to play over at the SugarBowl, and the SugarNellie FB group on FB.
There is a fabby sketch by Maria Therese.. and an optional inspirational photo.. which is not too dissimilar from the one on SNFB page.:-)...

 I have used some really old papers... MME fine & dandy and the leaves one is from how does your garden grow or something like that... the image is " Light of mine", from the pen of Krista Smith, as a Simply sassy stamp.she is coloured with Spectrums. The leaf die  cut from Heartfelt Creations "Aster" die set, and the flower is a Spellbinders , I think.

I have dabbed a little acrylic white paint with my finger to distress the flower, and thats all really...

Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello my lovelies , the weekend is upon us.. and to cap it all today is World Card Making Day! so, I hope you get chance to get creative...
Me...? I am in Harrogate at the GNPE, so lots of crafty retail therapy all round!! Lots of lush new goodies and a chance to meet a lot of fellow crafty ladies! 
So, I am scheduling this card , I am hoping its safe to do so..the recipient is sure to have gotten it by now... I hope she likes it!!!!
Any of you that follow me regularly know I LOVE LOTV stamps, and I just had to HAVE the latest Geisha girl releases.. here was my first card made with one of them...

  Say "hello" to little "Cho", she is coloured with my Spectrums, and the papers are Prima Annalee.( I have had these for ever, but they were just the right papers for this image , I thought) I had created the background with the companion stamp set 

the scroll and greeting also comes on the stamp set... I think I am going to be using these lots... I added lace, a doily, and flowers from WOC, dabbed on plenty of stickles , and thats it, finished!

 I did dab a little stardust pen everywhere... who can resist, she is sooo pretty!
so, all that's left is to wish you a happy World Card Making Day.. hope you get chance to get crafty!

Crafty creations- Fall colours

hello my lovelies.... how has your day been? 
I have had a very productive day.. got the little jobs done that I have been meaning to do all week... 
The count down is on for Harrogate.. super excited!!
You would be forgiven for expecting a Lili's Little Fairies post from me, but the team have grown and been divided into two... so its my turn next week...

The theme is a Christmas card for a male.. Ooooh all those cute images to choose from, where does a girl start.??
So, what have I been up to.. well this for starters......

yep, its LOTV! I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it! its so useful.. this card is for my eldest who has just moved again( these students, you know...). the stamp is called "Moving Day", coloured with my Spectrums, and the papers are MME Miss Caroline -fiddlesticks (I think). The flower is from Tim Holtz "tattered florals", i think this is my new fav.....the sentiment is from TLC..

I just added a little stitching and a few pearls. i hope the colours are Autumny enough for the Crafty creations Challenge??

Anyway, there has been mega excitement over at designed to colour, as they have been having themed challenges... now, it doesn't have to be new stuff so i have tagged a lot of the older creations. however, I saw this cutie, as a freebie , from Torico.. _perfect!!! you can also win another digi if you link up your creation using the freebie to her blog.
This fits their Autumn theme just right...

now this is a C6 card, I keep saying I must make these more often, (I do love my 6x6), the sketch is from the Cats Pajamas's  I saw Amy Sheffer's take on it here... it uses up my scraps just wondefully!

Wild Orchid challenge-Anything goes

Hello my lovelies... Thank you for calling by..
 I am busy with cards today , and I have one to share... This image i feel in love with when i saw it.. and was the perfect card to give to a friend...

this image is by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff, she is a very talented artist and I had to have this image the minute I saw it!

She is coloured with my Spectrums, and embellished to the hilt with my flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

  The dot paper I got from the lovely Mel Stampz.. what a place for resource papers.. and they are free too...
 the rest are Prima Romance Novel. Matted in Kraft card and stitched, and distressed . I have used a little muslin, and a doily ,flowers pearls and lace....
