digi Makeover challenge- Christmas

Hello again my friend.
 So pleased to see you again today... the end of the week is on the horizon, and more scarily , so is the end of the month.
I have another one of my commissioned cards to share today.... this one using another image from the the same stable as Tebby Bo... this is Snowy" Melted man" from Fairy D..

This digi is so unbelievably quick.. just a little extra shading on the hat, and I coloured up his nose..lots of glitter.. and hey presto!!!!!

the papers are "Naughty or Nice" from Raspberry Road, the tag is LOTV Xmas tags. I have used seam binding... a wooden snowflake, lots of buttons & twine, spellbinder snowflakes 2012 and my Memory Box Frosty border die.

I added a few pearls and pearl hearts, glossy accent sprinkled with Twinklets for the icicle effect.

... and thats it really. I wasn't happy where it was heading, but I like the end result.... hope my customer does too.

Facebook Sugar Nellie challenge- Buttons & Bows

Hello my crafty friend...... how's things?
 hope you had a fab weekend? 
We had a little visitor... so, no time to craft for me.... 
So, a quick card to share.... using my fav papermania Xmas papers.. and a cute from the Sugar Nellie range...
she is called "Little Apprentice", and she is coloured with my Spectrums. I have kept the layout relatively simple , and used my new die-namics "Dainty Bows" die. the tag is from LOTV.

I am really liking the neatness of the new bow die..:-).. I have distress the papers and the doily tho....and added plenty of Glamour dust.

 the card base was one of the Kraft ones from craft UK ltd... I got mine from Samuel Taylors , when I went to Harrogate show.
I love this cutie... I might be using her lots more....

Just Keep On Creating- Christmas

Happy Saturday!!! finally the weekend is here... busy day at work yesterday , I was glad to get home and put my feet up.... I have a short shift this afternoon, then thats me done till Monday . 
I have a card to share, this one was a commissioned one.... 

I have used those delicious papers from Papermania, and an adorable Christmas stamp from LOTV.. I will be using this lots... It is coloured with my spectrums... 

I really love this cute couple... so cosy... I have added plenty of kraft cardstock, snowflakes and buttons and twine... A simple layout this time, fishtails seem to be very trendy... a sprinkle of glitter, and I have finished

Incy Wincy Designs -Hip to be square

Good morning.... its that day again!!! 
Yup, Friiiiday!!! hope the week has been kind to you... and the weather too.. looking at all the flood alerts as I type this up on a rainy Thursday evening to schedule for Friday morning.....
 I have managed to colour up another SWALK image from the newest releases... this time with a puddy cat...my fav..:-)
the papers are from the SWALK Pawfect Friends cd too... an ideal pairing ..

I have used the belt embellishment from the cd , and the sentiment comes with the stamp. the image is called "Paw Prints"   she is coloured up with my Spectrums.

 I have distressed the edges a little and cut the sentiment in pieces and 3d-d some of it...

Lili's Little Fairies- Anything goes

Hello my lovely crafty friend... Its lovely to see you today.
 Its Thursday  so the start of another challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies , where the theme is "Anything Goes"...
 so, I thought I could use the chance to use my new stamps , one of which is this little darling.... 

Its a Kraft card blank, I have used Prima Madeleine Papers, which I have had  a while now, some muslin from stash,the flowers are Tim Holtz tattered florals die cuts, the leaves are a cut up Winter Wreath from Die-Namics . I thought it looked like seaweed. 

The stamp is "Little Mermaid Friends" coloured with my Spectrums

I have added a little stardust pen , and dotted liquid pearls around the mermaids... Thats it really ......

Birdie Brown - November freebie & challenge

Helllooooo! Happy hump day!! 
How the devil are you all today???
I have a snowy Xmas card as promised... and I love the image...Its cute.. its a joy to colour... its from the uber talented Torico, and its FREE!!!!

 The papers are Raspberry road.. "Naughty or Nice", the die is frostyville border by MB... I just coloured my snowman with my Spectrums, added some die cuts (Winter Wreath & Spellbinder snowflake)

 I dotted with liquid pearls, and sprinkled some glitter , just a button and a touch of twine to finish....

Incy Wincy designs challenge - Square cards

Hello my lovelies.... what a grey day... perfect weather for crafting!!! 
I have a cheery little card for you today, requested by a friend to give to a friend.... 

I had forgotten how much I LOVE these digi's by Zlatoena... and seeing the Christmas images on blogland I needed to colour one of mine up...:-)

the papers are Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 and a little Raspberry Road "Cherry Hill "...He is coloured with my Spectrums

I have 3d-d him onto my card, and the clouds too. they are a Memory Box die... I have distressed the edges with DI , and finished with a couple of buttons.... 
Quite a simple one today... but I kinda like that..:-)

Here is my card using Snowfall Kaylee...

She is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.. and fussy cut out, and popped onto the card with 3d tape. The tag is a sentiment from Lili of the Valley. I have added a button and twine from stash.....

I am loving the papers... they are Dovecrafts Back to Basics Christmas 8x8 papers... I got oodles for £4.99 :-)
really loving these SOG winter images.. may just have to pop back for more :-)

Designed To Colour Creative Crew Challenge- Paint Splatters

Good morning peeps.....
today is quite an exciting day. It sees the start of the first challenge over at DTC Creative Challenge, and the theme is "Paint Splatters".
now, remember this is one uber talented team ,and I still can't believe they chose me amongst them!!! Here is my card.....

This is using a new technique to me... I am rather a neat freak!!! but I have enjoyed the challenge. I used my walnut ink spray, but I flicked the splatter s on with a paintbrush... tapping it on the side of my hand.... 
The papers a Shabby Princess Harvest Spice  - I love these... and they were free! 
being sponsored too by Some Odd Girl- I had to use one of Kirsty's images - and I went for Woodsey Mae. , coloured with my Spectrums.

The flower dies are my delicate aster dies, and Marianne leaf dies , I have just added some button twine to the middle of some buttons, and finito!!

Anything Goes Challenge - Stitching -Real or Faux

Hello my lovelies... I know I promised a SWALK card, but I am sneaking a little Xmas one in ..hehehe.. or should it be "Hohoho" ???
Those pre-coloured toppers by Mo Manning are a life saver... and I have used one of these for my next card... along with some Docraft papers , and some Simple Stories Handmade Holidays ones too.

I Just luuuurve these papers... the flowers are a mix from stash WOC most definitely, but the poinsettia is Chloes creative cards...

Wow, has she got some lurvely bling, and fab prices too!

You just gotta love this cute fella.... I get to make a quick card in double quick time.... The big snowflake is a spellbinders one.... love that too!

Teddy Bo challenge- Anything goes

Good morning peeples! How the devil are you all??? 
Another commissioned card here at Murphy towers.... this time using a super cute Teddy Bo image... just the image I was looking for too...

This little fella is for a card for a young man who is art mad . perfect , no?

He is called "paint by numbers", coloured with my Spectrums, the papers are from Mel Stampz, and MME Miss Caroline -Dilly dally. I have used a clock die cut , and created a sentiment using a paint splatter font. The number is cut from my sizzlits alphabet set. I have splatter white paint, and walnut stain for a messy effect.

I quite like how he has turned out ... I have dotted with my pens to add texture... I hope he likes it....I am sure he will !?

S.W.A.L.K.- Pawfect Pals sneak peek

Hello my lovelies.... a later post for me today, as I have had rather a busy but productive day ... and now its time for me to share a first of my sneaky peeks....
There is a new S.W.A.L.K cd set launching this Friday called "Pawfect Pals", and the images are adorable . there are 3 cds in total, a pet focused one with the most adorable pets you could want. Then there is an additional papercraft cd ,and a cd of digi images... fabulous!!!
here is one of  my cards....

this card is using one of the digital images from the winter collection. I love those penguins! the papers are from the S.W.A.L.K. winter cheer cd, and I have embellished with plenty of dies cuts and lots of glitter. They are coloured with my Spectrum Noirs.

You can see just how much glittered I have lavished onto this little cutie.. 
Now, I am sure you will all be dying to see all the rest of the gorgeous images to be had on this fabulous cd set... believe me, there are oodles and oodles.....

One stop craft challenge- Anything goes

Hello my lovelies... Good weekend? Its all over in a blink of an eye isn't it??
Its been a sunny start, but now its cold and damp... time for something yummy for tea...
before that tho.. just a quick card to share... I have been making "New home " cards for two of my friends... when I saw this LOTV stamp I knew it would be really useful...

The papers are "Tea for Two" by Cosmo cricket. The stamp is "Moving Day "by LOTV, its coloured with my Spectrums. the punch is MS. I have used button twine , and a button from stash.

I have matted the layers with Kraft and distressed the edges with my distressing tool. I really love these cute critters...

Diva's by Design- Cute

Hellllooooo crafters!!!!
Haaaapppyyy Friday! Another week has whizzed by....I swear they get quicker...
So, the countdown to the weekend has begun... I am heading off to work anytime now, I just wanted to share a quick thank you card with you.
Today's card is a bit of a cheat... well, in as much as I have no colouring in it!!! Yes... gasp!! no colouring!
I have used a pre-coloured one , which I bought in Harrogate from  The HobbyHouse. they were toppers with the delish images by Mo Manning., called "cupcake girls" Who could resist??

The papers are from Prima called "SweetFairy", I have used my Go kreate circle  scallop die, spellbinder lacey circle and my trusty circle cutter to create the layers . the stem is Cheery Lynn "Flourish" die I have used "tattered florals " and a flower punch to create some flowers, to finish I embellished with some adhesive gems from stash.

Lili's Little Fairies- All things bright & beautiful

Hello my lovelies... a very good morning to you....
Thursday already, and that means its time for another challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies.....
This time the theme is "Bright & Beautiful"...
 Well, I dithered a bit on this... then I decided on some "bright" oriental feel papers, and of course the lovely Aimi with lantern. 

The papers I have an absolute age, I figured they were too bright and maybe garish to use... but I think this works... I have toned them down with a couple of bits from my MME L&F Breeze paper pad... I am hoping these are still available.. I do love them...

She is coloured with my Spectrum Noirs, and I have added a tiny bit of Stardust pen, and a few simple flowers... I really think the image did it all and it didnt need anything more. the sentiment is from the LOTV companion set for the Geisha's.

Saturated Canary Challenge- Shaped Card

Good morning peeples!!!! How are you???? its Wednesday! Happy Hump Day!
I am joining the Saturated Canary  challenge by the skin of my teeth today... I am such a procrastinator!!!
The theme is "Shaped Cards", and finally I had chance to whistle one up..... not best pleased with my colouring tho' but time is against me....

 So, I  finally got to colour "Windy Day" with my Spectrums , I have used my shaped Grand nesties,( which I got half price at CC's sale) and the papers are my new Autumn fav from Shabby Princess - Harvest Spice. I love it!! and whats even better it was free!!! :-)

 the flowers are cut from my Tim Holtz "Tattered Florals" , I added a few gems, a doily , et voila!  i am happy with the finished result.. so I kinda need to hurry and get linked up... then its off to work..

The SugarBowl challenge- Erica's sketch

Hello papercraft lovers!! Good morning to you.. its a damp cold Tuesday here... and hubby has kindly given me his sore throat and sniffles... :-(
So, on a cheery note I wanted to share a quick card for the challenge over at the SugarBowl, where the lovely Erica has given us a fab sketch , and optional colourway to follow. here's my take on it...

this is following the sketch using up my last few scraps of MME L&F Breeze & Sunshine. The image is Bella Bunting from Simply Sassy, she is coloured with my Spectrums. I have used my fav dies... Heartfelt creations Aster die, MFT fishtail banner  die, and spellbinders lacey  circle  nestie .

 I fussy cut her out, 3d'd her onto my circle die cuts, added a few pearls, and a sentiment... which is from LOTV, the Geisha girls 
companion set.
I do hope you like her, Bella is one of my all time favs... I don't use her often enough...

Sweet Stampin Challenge- All that glitters

Hello campers!!! its Monday!! BBoooo Hiss!!!
hope you had a good weekend... mine went too fast!
I have a card to share with you at least... and in my favourite colour too!

I LOVE these Fizzy moon stamps, this one is called "With Love", it is coloured with my Spectrums. the papers are part Mel  Stampz... and part  Mulberry Wood everyday.The flowers are W.O.C

I love all the sparkle on this one... I have added loads of Stickles. I have added a chain of small pink beads around the loops of the die cut . It makes a nice effect I think... I have also stitched all round the layers, for extra detail. a couple of pearls, and thats it really... I will add the sentiment later , as its for a 60th birthday card.

Delicious Doodles Challenge- Embossing

Hiya!!! I am back!!! 
this time with a card I created for a colleague, who got hitched again last week !! They loved it so much, they rang to tell us so. 
I have created a WOW project in essence , but I have distressed the edges a little....

I have used the "Tied Together " embossing folder from couture creations, and dotted the joins with heart shaped pearls. The flowers are the Heartfelt Creations Aster die and that is edged with a couple of border die cuts, one of which is Memory Box cherish border.

 The stamp is a Fizzy moon "I do" stamp.they make a cute couple don't they??? they are coloured with my Spectrum noirs .I have added a little stardust pen for a bit of glimmer! The sentiment is computer generated. this is pretty much a spin off of an earlier card using a LOTV pre-coloured mage..but I love this folder sooo much I had to use it again.
